WELCOME
The Hartline School Preservation Association is a group of Hartline area residents and Hartline School alumni dedicated to the work of preserving, rehabilitating, and adaptively reusing the historic Hartline School. Formed in the Spring of 2009, the HSPA is a committee of the Hartline Betterment Organization, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
The Hartline Betterment Organization in July of 2016 agreed to purchase the Historic Hartline School from Grant County Port District #5 which had acquired the building from the Coulee-Hartline School District in 2010. The goal continues to be to adapt this historically significant building for multiple new uses. Preservation of our unique architectural treasure allows us to honor the dedication and vision of those who came before us, and provides a valuable resource for those who will follow in the future. This endeavor is a valuable opportunity for economic development and community revitalization in the town of Hartline.
